This makes sense to me as the leak may vary depending on whether the rough spot is close to the ground when the car is parked. Look at the front trunk. Open the front trunk. Watch if the color of outsideand inside are exactly match. See if there is some damage of the parts in thetrunk. See if the front trunk is clean. Check all kind of oil and fluid. Lowlevel indicate leaking. Every rim has been damaged and I am trying to work a deal to have them take care of switching to a wheel and tire of my chasing along with a spare donught in the lazy susan well of the floor. I am not taking the odyssey off the lot until they have made it right by me. If they supply me with a 17" wheel and tire I have chosen I will let the matter drop. If they don't I will take photographs of the wheel damage done by them and retain an attorney. I am not going to put up with this insane monoply that Michelin and Honda have conspired in. This system is wrong and I will pursue it as far as humanly possible. The replacement wheel was priced to me at $400.00 each. If they don't take care of my request on Monday I will try to contact the media myself. Is there a difference between a Japan manufactured Camry versus the Us Camry's window switch assembly (driver side)? I have a friend that has a broken one and he claims that he cannot find one due to the fact his camry was made in Japan. I have located one at a local AP store for $65.00. He has been quoted $300.00 for one. I spray WD-40 on my wheels before I go to the car wash,then when you get to the car wash, all you have to do is pressure wash the brake dust off...works great. Always run the right type of gasoline for your car or truck. The user manual indicates which type is ideal for the best performance possible. It is not wise to ignore this as it is there for a reason. Do what is best for your vehicle. Keep your battery clean and check it regularly to ensure that it is maintaining a proper charge. Allowing the battery to get filthy can be problematic. Start to look for the car two month before you really need the car. The mostimportant thing to buy a used car is to buy a car in good condition. The secondimportant thing is to save money. If you want to buy a car in one week, youhighly risk your money. I can buy a car in 2 minutes but I don't think you cando like that. You will get reward by your patient. A few other items: Since I didn't bring proof of tire rotation and my tires were on the high side on pressure (which was done by a honda dealer BTW as the TPMS kept saying the pressure was low) Michelin resisted paying anything until I told the dealer I was going to keep the old tires for the lawsuit that was filed in LA in March, then within literally 10 seconds the Michelin rep agreed to pay 70% as a 'goodwill' gesture. Also I have had two Michelins with material defects on my Pilot. Expect to lose a day if you go thru this tire claim process, it took us 6 hours today. I have a 2006 Odyssey with PAX tires. In Sept last year, it took Honda dealer in NYC 5 days to replace a flat tire, And that was after I contacted Honda Customer service. Count me among those who won't drive the van more than 50 miles from home. |
