I drove another mile to the restaurant; found that the pressure in one tire was ALL gone! I pumped up the tire, didn’t see or hear any obvious leak, so I drove home. The pressure has now held up for almost 24 hours, not sure what caused the leak. The warning light on the dash didn’t go away after the flat tire was reinflated. I read the manual and learned that it had to be re-initialized after each alert. I'll continue to monitor in the coming days, certainly won't take the car on a long trip. What I do when I have a question like this is go to one of the online Toyota dealer's parts sites or call or go to your local Toyota dealer. Tell them the year and model of the car and the part you are looking for. If they ask for a vin number or ask whether the car is made in the US or Japan, then you know they are different. If they don't ask, then it shouldn't matter. Look at the first digits of the VIN.Camry's built in America will be marked with the numbers "1" or "4". Those built in Japan will start with a "J".There is no difference when replacing the drivers power window switch (master switch).I found one at Checker/O'Reilly for close to $200. Is the milage read on the oddmeter real? Sometimes the car was involved in accident, then some parts were changed to anew one. In this case, it is difficult to find the part with exactly colormatch. This is why some cars get a new paint. Sometimes you even can find thatsome parts are older than others. All of this indicate that the car was in anaccident. If you have ink stains on the leather, you can remove it with cuticle remover -- not nail polish remover! Just put some on the stain and let it set in anywhere from 10 minutes to overnight and then wipe it off. |
