Set up a claim number and then called the area dealers for PAX costs, best was $192 for the tire plus $75 each tire for labor (!). FYI another dealer 15 miles away was charging $300/tire plus $100 each for labor and my local honda dealer did not have the PAX machine even though the Michelin database said they did. Guides to look at a used car. Look around the car. First, see if it isrepaint. Repaint is not good since the car could be involved in accident thenwas repainted. If the car is original paint, then watch if the color of allparts are exactly match. Try used fabric softer dryer sheets to remove love bugs from front of car,just wet them and rub away the bugs. What I do when I have a question like this is go to one of the online Toyota dealer's parts sites or call or go to your local Toyota dealer. Tell them the year and model of the car and the part you are looking for. If they ask for a vin number or ask whether the car is made in the US or Japan, then you know they are different. If they don't ask, then it shouldn't matter. Then if you can not get it, you can leave. If you can not get the car bytwice, then go the third dealer. Then go up until the price your friends paid.You will get the car. Now that your friends can get it by the price, why can'tyou? Look at inside. The most important thing is that the car is well maintainedand in a good condition. Some people don't treat their car good. A good carshould have a very clean inside. There is no holes in the seats. Check if allthe buttons works well. Keep a microfiber cloth dry in the car so that you can use them to clean the dashboard of a car in the long red lights or traffic jams. |
