There looks to be a way for oil to get to the distributor shaft bearing (shoulda gotten pics) on purpose, but is there another smaller o-ring or seal that I've overlooked? The exploded diagrams I can find don't actually explode the distributor, so I can't see one and attempting to disassemble it was futile for the time I had. Check your tire pressure often. If it is too low or too high, it could pose a problem. Keep this level maintained so that your tires last as long as they should. You can easily check this with an inexpensive tire gauge. Engine Degreaser: ¼ cup washing soda and 1 gallon warm water pour on engine areas that need degreasing. Rinse thoroughly. Excess should not be stored -- discard all leftovers. I drove another mile to the restaurant; found that the pressure in one tire was ALL gone! I pumped up the tire, didn’t see or hear any obvious leak, so I drove home. The pressure has now held up for almost 24 hours, not sure what caused the leak. The warning light on the dash didn’t go away after the flat tire was reinflated. I read the manual and learned that it had to be re-initialized after each alert. I'll continue to monitor in the coming days, certainly won't take the car on a long trip. If the car is being bid on only by used car dealers, the chances are good that you will be able to snap up the vehicle at a price at (or very close to) the wholesale price. Car dealers of course want to be able to on sell there purchases at a fair price so they too will only bid up to what they consider a realistic price. The dealers are easy to spot because of the volume of cars they buy. The day you discussing the price with a salesman, the first price you givemust be $ 2000 lower than the price you want to pay. The salesman can not takeyour first offer. You have to go up a little bit to get the car. Then try $ 1000more. If you can not get the car, the best things you can do is leave. Try used fabric softer dryer sheets to remove love bugs from front of car,just wet them and rub away the bugs. I have unwittingly purchased the ultimate of mutual aggrondizement between Honda and Michelin. Sorry bunch of engineers they! However with a nail in my Odyssey's left rear tire, losing pressure and becoming more disenchanted with the whole mess, I decided to have a plug put in where the nail was and after $15.00 plus tax, I was on my way. I spray WD-40 on my wheels before I go to the car wash,then when you get to the car wash, all you have to do is pressure wash the brake dust off...works great. |
