Watch if the color of outsideand inside are exactly match. See if there is some damage of the parts in thetrunk. See if the front trunk is clean. Check all kind of oil and fluid. Lowlevel indicate leaking. Engine Degreaser: ¼ cup washing soda and 1 gallon warm water pour on engine areas that need degreasing. Rinse thoroughly. Excess should not be stored -- discard all leftovers. Make sure that your brake fluid is always well above the line that indicates a healthy minimum. Your brakes are the lifeline of your vehicle, something that you do not want to overlook. For detail cleaning on the dashboard, the best thing to use is a soft paintbrush. It gets into all the grooves . The best product I've found to remove water spots and make your black car/suv shine is Eagle One Wet..Wipe and Shine...this product is awesome to remove spots on paint and also your exterior windows. Look at the back trunk. Open the back trunk, then you can see if the backpanel was damaged. Look at the cloth of back trunk. A well maintained car shouldhave a clean cloth and spear tire in back trunk. If the cloth is very dirty oryou can take off the cloth, the car was hit on back for the probability of 80%. I have a 2005 Touring model and yes, my tires only lasted 20K miles. Honda offered a $ 200 per tire swap...and that was it. For that money, I can get a GREAT tire vs the TRUCK TIRES the Odyssey uses...that's right, those Michelin tires are rated as TRUCK TIRES. I have unwittingly purchased the ultimate of mutual aggrondizement between Honda and Michelin. Sorry bunch of engineers they! However with a nail in my Odyssey's left rear tire, losing pressure and becoming more disenchanted with the whole mess, I decided to have a plug put in where the nail was and after $15.00 plus tax, I was on my way. Supercharger kits are available for the Camry (Solara) V6 via Toyota's TRD division. If you can find a junked Solara from that year, you can do the engine/tranny/ECM swap then bolt on the blower. You even get a warranty on it. But granted, it puts out a tepid 4 psi boost. Any engine you want to withstand the boost you're looking for will need serious upgrading. Note that I specifically asked about the tire life when I bought the van and the dealer stated it was 35K miles. So today I had the dealer I went to contact the Michelin rep to start the claim, they agreed to pay 70% of the tire cost for the two tires that were out of spec, so it cost me $170+/- to get the two tires replaced after one year, and it looks like I will be doing two more at full price in 6 months unless Michelin comes to their senses. My local tire dealer (non-PAX) said he would put together a tire/rim package for the local Touring owners as he has started seeing quite a few people come in with less than 20k miles and shot tires. He said it reminded him of the Ford Explorer tire fiasco a few years ago. How to find out the value of the car? There are several sites about the valueof the car.
